I finished a few things this weekend and I'm pretty proud:
Stats:
Pattern: Montreal Tuque by Veronik Avery from Knitting Classic Style: 35 Modern Designs Inspired by Fashion's Archives
Yarn: 3 skeins of Cascade 220 in 3 different colours
Needles: 3.75mm/5US
Timeline: Sunday October 7th, 2007 - Monday, October 8th, 2007; fastest thing I ever knit.
I love it on him! He recently cut his hair very short and it's starting to get chilly here so I decided he needed a hat and pronto!
Stats:
Pattern:Fingerless Gloves with Petite Cables by Andra Asars
Yarn: 1 skein of Berroco Ultra Alpaca light in Turquoise mix
Needles: 3.25mm/5US
Timeline: Thursday October 3rd, 2007 - Tuesday October 9th, 2007 for 1 glove.. 2nd will be put on hold for a bit.
I love alpaca! I only have one done for now and I need to stop knitting these for now cause I have to do my mitten swap mittens.
I'm a little worried about these cause I've been wearing them for a few minutes and it's a little itchy which is very surprising since it's so soft to the touch.. Please don't let me be allergic to alpaca, I think I'll cry.
Anyway, enough for now, early day tomorrow.
